Host an album from the computer that holds it.
Turn on sharing for a selected album, send its stable HTTPS address, and let guests browse, search by face, and download the photographs returned to them.
A stable address for each album
Memories reconnects the album's assigned address when the app reopens. The album remains controlled by the source Mac rather than becoming a public cloud photo bucket.
The host controls availability
The current release needs the source Mac online, Memories open, and active app access. Turning sharing off blocks future album, result, and media requests.
Search without exposing the full catalogue
A guest face search is scoped to one album. Result and media links grant access only to returned photographs and expire; they do not open the owner's complete library.
Downloads are real copies
A recipient can retain a photograph after downloading it. Disabling an album stops future access but cannot recall copies that guests already saved.
Try the workflow
Prepare the album and test the guest journey before sending its link.
Start with your own photographs.
Memories is available for Apple silicon Macs running macOS 14 or later. Check your Mac App Store for availability and local pricing.
